Her public rooms are intimately-sized and discrete, embodying the interior design principles of Frank Lloyd Wright: smaller apertures, non-90 degree angles, built-in seating, niches. He thought interior spaces should mirror the natural world, where views are revealed gradually and in unexpected and delightful ways: the opposite of current floor plan vogue. Use the upstairs owners’ suite until you can’t manage the stairs and then either move into the two downstairs suites (where the views are only slightly less breathtaking), or install an elevator; there’s a perfect place for it.
